Gnome Terminal
Once you are used to the teminal, it's hard to go back to mouse; if you are using Gnome Terminal like me here's a list of tips and tricks I will update as I go .
- starting a bigger terminal
Add a link to the gnome bar for the terminal, then click on the terminal launcher's properties and change the command adding " --geometry=160x40" ; the geometry parameter is an "X geometry specification"; a long story shortened : COLUMNSxROWS
